Since 1998, the Annual Firefighter Mass has united firefighters in faith and fellowship — a tradition that continues today.
Open to all firefighters — active, retired, and volunteer — from any city, state, or country. All faiths and families are welcome!
Before the Mass:
- 🏅 Blessed St. Florian medals and prayer cards distributed to firefighters in attendance
During the Mass:
- 📖 Celebrate the mass
- 🕯️ In Memoriam — reading of the names of firefighters who have passed in the last year
- 🏅 Presentation of the Kimberly Ann Smith Medal
After the Mass:
- 🙏 Blessing of firefighters and apparatus by the priest
- 📸 Group photo on the steps of the Co-Cathedral
- 🍽️ Free luncheon and desserts — complimentary for all attendees, while supplies last
